You won't want to miss the 43rd Annual Consultation, September 27-29, 2003, in Niagara Falls, New York.

As medical professionals, we are members of churches that desire to reach their communities with a message of hope in troubled times. The consultation will speak to how the church can reach out to hurting individuals …

… as a way to introduce the unbelievers to the love of Christ

… as a way to help church members to use their gifts in assisting other members who are hurting

The Keynote speaker, Dr. Steven Mott, will provide a theological framework for healing ministries. FMMF Consultation 2003 "The Church as a Healing Community." Workshops will cover these topics:
• Involving the church in substance abuse prevention and recovery with discussion facilitated by Norm Wetterrau, one of our own members.
• Support for the treatment of chronic disease by Parish Nursing.
• Reaching out to those who are hurting psychologically by the Center for Christian Social Ministry, Roberts Wesleyan University.

Our first session will be at Friday evening at 7 PM, September 27, and we will adjourn for travel home at 10 AM on Sunday, September 29.

Reservation information for the conference and for rooms will be available soon.

INVITATION

Save these dates on your calendar.

As you make plans to attend, would you consider inviting a dental or medical
student or resident to come with you to the consultation as your guest?  One
of our goals as a fellowship is to mentor young medical professionals in
their development.
