THEOLOGICAL CONSULTATION 2011, SEPTEMBER 23-25, 2011

PURSUING YOUR PASSION, CELEBRATING 50 YEARS

Our speakers for this year's Consultation are Rev. Doug Newton and Rev. Robert Munshaw. Newton has participated in Consultations in the past and is a very engaging, thought provoking speaker. He is presently the senior pastor of the Greenville Free Methodist Church. Munshaw is pursuing a doctoral degree at St. Louis University, and has had a variety of pastoral experiences. He is the son-in-law of David Crandall.

Here is the schedule of activities for the weekend.

September 23 - Friday afternoon:

1PM - 5PM annual board of director's meeting

5PM - 7PM registration at Essenhaus Inn Conference Center

7PM Doug Newton - Incarnating Passion/Sustaining a sense of energy in the midst of daily routine, frustrations, and adversity.

8PM Fellowship

8:30PM Sharing your passion. How have you pursued your God-given passion? Testimonials from our membership.



September 24 - Saturday Morning:

9AM Doug Newton - Incarnating Faith/Living out a God-man partnership in our work.

10:30 AM Robert Munshaw - Incarnating our Past/The Wesleyan holiness tradition teaches that we are the hands and feet of Christ.



Saturday afternoon: 12N - 4PM On your own for lunch and seeing the sights.

4PM Annual Meeting

Saturday evening: 6PM Dinner at the Essenhaus Inn - Celebrating 50 Years

8PM Doug Newton - Incarnating Divine Resources/How do we experience God working through us?

9PM Afterglow - Reflections on how you can pursue you God-given passion. Testimonials from our membership.



September 25 - Sunday AM:

9AM Worship and Communion

10AM Travel home to pursue your passion.

I am looking forward to seeing you in September. In my next email I will give more informat about getting to the Essenhaus Inn. But in brief Middlebury is just east of South Bend on US20. Midway in Chicago is the closest major airport.
